Bill Maher: Ron Paul Is My New Hero

Bill Maher discussed Ron Paul and the highlights of the GOP debate (May 19, 2007) on his show Real Time. Though Maher says that Ron Paul has "no chance" he does support Paul's ideas and the factual correctness of what he said during the debate.

I think America is ready for a change in direction and that Ron Paul has the best plan. Ron Paul does have a chance if he can get the necessary grassroots support. There have been several "long shots" like him in the past that have overcome all odds and brought about a sea change in the nation's politics.
