Beware of the meat...

This is some serious stuff. I hope that all of you who read this will be careful if you choose to eat meat. Meat, in America has been unsafe since the 80s and it is doubtful that it can be safe given the state that the industry is in now. It may seem safe as you eat it, as it runs down your throat and through your intestines. But there is a chance that some Prions are in that meat.

Prions are not living things, so to speak; they are proteins. They cannot be killed by the digestive process because this would require temperatures of 1,000 Degrees C. Prions gradually multiply like a cancer and may infest one's system for 10-15 years before major symptoms appear.

PUTTING THE HEAT ON MEAT:

Meat is still a prime source of protein, and of course with 6million folks on Dr. Atkins diet, meat consumption has gone up quite significantly in the past 12 years. Most people shopping in America, and large food vendors abroad, like SAMs club or COSTCO. In Mexico these large distributors all rely on the USDA stamp or seal of inspected approval. As a kid, we all trusted blindly the government inspection process and never gave it much thought. This news was brought to my attention, and it just rendered me speechless, and thats not easy to do.

Remember the 1993 out break of E. coli 0157:H7 at Jack in a Box restaurants in the Pacific Northwest sickened 700 people? The Clinton Administration told the USDA to start testing the public meat for the E. coli. The American Meat Institute and six other meat packers sued the USDA in Federal court. The Federal Court wisely upheld the ruling, but the meatpackers never backed away from the central argument.

Since 2000, Americas agribusiness firms have donated over 140 million dollars to candidates running for Congress and the Presidency. In 2004 alone, the McDonalds Corporation gave 77% of its political donations to Republicans; the National Cattlemens Beef Association, 81%; National Restaurant Association, 90%. In return the Bush administration and the Republican majority in Congress have worked hard to serve these private interests at the expense of public health.

At the time the when the newly emerged pathogens such as E. coli and mad-cow disease threatened the nations food supply, the USDA failed to adopt effective measures to test for contaminated meat, trace it, and recall it, even after the last Canadian mad-cow scare.

Even as far back as the Regan administration, they introduced the Streamlined Inspection System, where meatpackers slowly lobbied to inspect themselves with little to no Government involvement. The meatpacking industry opposed any government testing. If you dont know about a problem, then you dont have to deal with it, so said the fast food industry. G.W. Bush received $600,000 to start off his campaign, with more to come along the way.

In December 2001, the meatpacking industry won an important victory when a federal appeals court upheld an earlier ruling that the USDA could no longer shut down a ground-beef plant because of Salmonella contamination. The Federal court decided that Salmonella is not an adulterant because cooking destroys the Salmonella.

ConAgras slaughter houses, one of the largest meatpackers tested for E. coli in June 17 2002, puts out 354,000 pounds of meat daily, possibly contaminated. According to media reports, ConAgra -- because of a few deaths and more sick -- was pressured to recall 19 million pounds of beef; however, only 3 million pounds were returned. Further investigation found that The Greeley slaughter house of ConAgra had produced meat tainted with E.coli for nearly two years. ConAgra conducted their own testing but was never required to disclose the results. Even though the USDA inspectors repeatedly cited the plant for visible fecal contamination of the meat, they imposed no punishments and demanded no corrections. ConAgra, now owned by Swift & Co, everyday turns roughly 5,000 heads of cattle into about 2 million pounds of boxed beef and 800,000 pounds of trim, which is used for making ground beef. Nearby feedlots hold about 200,000 cows.

Another example, Supreme Beef Processors, had tested positive three times for Salmonella while selling tons of meat to the National School Lunch Program. Thanks to the previous Federal ruling, tons of contaminated meat were legally sold with the USDA seal of approval. So lets infect the kids; yes build up their immunity. What a crock! Selling garbage meat to the kids. As a result, questionable meat was routinely sold to the general public.

We really dont learn from other peoples mistakes.

Xmas 2003, Yakima, Washington: Infected mad-cow disease (bovine spongiform encephalopathy, or B.S.E.) is one more pathogen whose recent emergence has been possible by a centralized and industrialized system for producing meat. The infective agent that causes B.S.E. isnt a virus or a bacterium but a malformed protein know as prion, that accumulates in the brain, riddling it with small holes.

Mad-cow disease first appeared in Great Britain during the 1980s and its spread was soon linked to a wide-spread common practice of using cattle brains and spinal material, and other potentially infectious body parts, in cattle feed. The British government suspected that the B.S.E. could jump the species barrier and infect people, causing an incurable new ailment, variant Crreutzfeldt-Jakob disease. It strikes mainly young people, inflicts horrible suffering, and kills all those infected by destroying their brains. Six years went by until something was done, but in the mean time delicious beef was sold all over Britain and abroad. A mass slaughter of British cattle had to be done; roughly 4 million with B.S.E. had already been eaten by the public. Almost the entire British population born before 1996 was exposed to mad-cow disease, primarily through the consumption of ground beef and cheap processed meats. What about all those tourists who ate the London broil? Or the cruise ships out of Britain!

This is not the worst of it. Very little is known about Prion diseases, but what is known is that they can have incubation periods of as long as forty years. So twenty years later this disease could surface in many people making the sickness a time bomb. The Bush Administrations response to the discovery of mad-cow disease in the United States has been a familiar and predictable much like the British; it immediately downplayed the threat to human health.

September 2003: the USDA failed to disclose the true size of the B.S.E. recall and refused to tell the public-health officials in Oregon and Washington where the contaminated recalled beef was shipped. Also, cattle blood may contain infective prions, and poultry is being fed with so much waste from the beef slaughterhouses that the poultry may also be infected. The National Cattlemens association strongly opposed any widespread testing for B.S.E., arguing its just not necessary. The USDAs testing program is voluntary, which raises serious questions about its findings.

Dr. Stanley Prusiner has urgently warned public health officials. Prusiner is a neurologist whos been studying prion diseases for more than 30 years. He coined the the term prion and won a Nobel Prize in 1997 for his pioneering work. He says, The bottom line is, if we dont tightly control these prion diseases, were going to regret it big time. Professor Giuseppe Legname, at San Franciscos Institute of Neuro-degenerative diseases shares the same concern.

The National Cattlemans Beef Association, the National Restaurant Association, the Grocery manufacturers of America, the MacDonalds Corporation, and other pillars of the food industry have gone out of their way lately to promote the idea that there are no good or bad foods. And if you dont agree with that idea, there are powerful legal tools at their disposal to persuade you. Opra Winfrey was sued under such a law in Texas after suggesting that mad-cow might pose a threat in the USA, and though she won her case the law still remains on the books. The food industry likes to keep you in fear of lawsuits. Over the years MacDonalds has threatened legal action against vegetarian groups, The Sunday Times of London, and many student publications, anyone who has negative opinions about Big Macs.

Personal Comments:

Lets see now, where to begin? The vast majority of USDA beef is primarily fed on corn. The corn is genetically engineered to withstand weather and bugs and to yield more per acre. Genetically engineered food crops have been around for years; corn and soybean are the main cattle and poultry feed. The beef, like chickens, are individually penned or kept in very crowded facilities. This keeps the animals from moving and exercising, therefore fattening the up faster so they get to market sooner. Then the beef is injected with steroids to make them larger for the same reasons. Steroids in the beef have a side effect of compromising the animals immune system and making them more vulnerable to sickness. So this is remedied by giving the beef large doses of antibiotics. So the end result is, when you are eating beef that is filled with steroids, antibiotics, and that are fed on genetically engineered corn, how can we be surprised at this obesity level, and heart failure in our meat eaters?. So with every juicy bite of a typical hamburger or steak, you are eating artificial concoction of vaccines, steroids, pesticides, herbicides, and GMO grains (genetically modified). Long-term, high-dose antibiotics use in cattle (and in people who eat the antibiotic-laden meat) contributes to the formation of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, commonly known as super bugs.

Its hard to trust anyone; blind faith just doesnt make it. Self-responsibility continues to be the path of health. In answer to all the meat eaters questions I added the solution to the problem of a carnivorous diet.

GLOBAL RESEARCH SUPPORTS PLANT BASED DIET

Research continues to support the importance of a balanced, plant-based diet, even though science is not yet able to identify with certainty how each specific component of such a diet works.

The bottom-line conclusion of the latest research conference sponsored by the American Institute for Cancer Research does not bode well for meat-eaters. This year's conference focused on phytochemicals, a wide variety of substances that occur naturally in plant foods: fruits, vegetables, legumes (dried beans) and grains. Several presentations focused on phytochemicals in onions and garlic. In test tube studies, some of the compounds were able to block the formation of a major cancer-causing substance, and helped maintain normal cell growth and structure that are important to prevent the cells from developing into cancer.

But many conference speakers expressed concern that selectively boosting intake of individual phytochemicals based on laboratory research like this is inappropriate until we know how they work in people.

Research presented at the conference also suggests that onion and garlic may help people lower their risk of cancer if consumed daily or perhaps weekly. But other findings presented on phytochemicals in these and other vegetables and fruits demonstrated that the effect of these substances cannot be simply related to the amount consumed. Rather, it is influenced by how they are processed and by interactions with the rest of what we eat.

For example, several researchers reported on lycopene, found in dark red fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes, red grapefruit and watermelon. Lycopene may help in prevention of prostate cancer and other cancers.

Contrary to some popular assertions that vegetables are always most valuable when eaten raw, lycopene from tomatoes is most usable by the body when it comes in processed products like tomato juice, soup and sauce. Other reports at the conference related to antioxidants, compounds that prevent or repair damage to cells caused by highly reactive substances produced in our bodies by pollution, sunlight, and normal body processes. While some consumers are familiar with the antioxidant capabilities of nutrients such as vitamins C and E, research has identified many phytochemicals that are potent antioxidants, including those found in large amounts in raisins, plums, most berries and whole grains

Throughout the two-day conference, scientists repeatedly emphasized the need for additional research to accurately identify which phytochemicals (and in which forms) can actually help prevent cancer or slow its growth. In the meantime, researchers underscored the distinction between the need for further study before isolated phytochemical supplements are used and the strong support that already exists for the cancer preventive potential of a predominantly plant-based diet. Researchers continued to support the conclusions of the American Institute for Cancer Research's report on diet and cancer prevention - that a balanced, plant-based diet could bring about a major drop in cancer rates. The key, they say, is to make a wide variety of vegetables, fruits and whole grains the major part of what we eat each day.

Personal Comments:

Hippocrates said let your medicine be your food and your food be your medicine. Hippocrates came from the island of Cos in the Greek Isles where a community of fruitarians have been known to live over a hundred years. Chinese physicians for 4000 years have been using herbs, plants and spices for healing and cleansing. A plant based diet has been correct for thousands of years and only now science confirms what we already know. The problem as I see it is marketing with the greed for money. The Buddha said In the search of wealth we destroy our health 600 BC.

Instead of trying to emulate western bad habits, looking into ones own cultural past could lead to a more harmonious lifestyle. Here is an example.

CHINESE STUDY LINKS WESTERN DIET AND HEART DISEASE

Chinese researchers have presented more evidence that the standard Western diet can cause heart disease.

They said people who ate a traditional Chinese diet, based on rice, vegetables and green tea, were much less likely to suffer the physical symptoms of heart disease -- even though they have high rates of smoking.

But when Chinese people moved to Western cities such as San Francisco or Sydney, their arteries started to make the changes that herald heart disease, Dr. Kam Woo of the University of Hong Kong told a meeting of the American Heart Association.

"Both Chinese and non-Chinese should recognize the potential effects of the traditional Chinese diet," Woo told a news conference.

More green tea

"They should think about drinking more green tea, eating more vegetables and eating less meat and dairy products."

Woo started with villagers in Pan Yu, a town in Guangdong province about 100 miles from Hong Kong in southern China, who have one of the lowest rates of heart disease in the world.

He used ultrasound, which uses sound waves, to measure the thickness of the inner walls of the carotid arteries that feed blood to the brains of some of the villagers, and asked them about their dietary habits.

Woo then compared these measurements to westernized Chinese living in Hong Kong, Sydney, and San Francisco. In all, he studied 116 people aged 20 to 60.

The combined thickness of the lining and middle muscle layers of the carotid artery are considered a good indicator of heart disease.

The average carotid inner wall thickness was about one-fifth thinner among the Pan Yu villagers than in the Westernized Chinese, Woo reported.

Half the meat

The Pan Yu villagers ate just under half as much meat and just a tiny fraction of the amount of dairy food as the Western-living Chinese. They ate more vegetables, tofu and drank much more green tea.

For breakfast the villagers would eat congee, or rice porridge, steamed buns containing a small amount of meat and plenty of tea.

"Hardly any ham, bacon, sausage or scrambled egg is eaten in the typical Pan Yu breakfast meal," Woo said.

Other meals included stir-fried or steamed vegetables, a little meat and fish or tofu.

"That is in contrast to fried chicken or fish fillet" in the West, he said.

He said Westerners should not only eat more vegetables and less fatty meat, but should cook Chinese-style more often, steaming or stir-frying foods.

A healthy lifestyle -- including a low-fat, high-fiber diet, exercise, and moderate alcohol intake -- can dramatically reduce the risk of heart disease, report Massachusetts researchers. A large study conducted in nurses suggests that a healthy lifestyle can cut heart risk by as much as 80%.

Dr. Frank B. Hu of Harvard University in Boston presented the latest findings from the Nurses' Health Study Monday at the 72nd Scientific Sessions of the American Heart Association. The ongoing study involves more than 84,000 women. Hu and colleagues surveyed the study participants about eating habits and lifestyle during a 14-year period. The investigators then categorized the women, aged 34 to 59 and free of heart disease at the beginning of the study, according to their risk of heart disease.

Hu reported that 1,129 cases of heart disease occurred in this group of women during the 14-year study period. There were 296 fatal and 833 nonfatal heart attacks. About half of these occurred in current smokers.

Women with the healthiest lifestyles and who had the lowest risk of heart disease were those who did not smoke, were not overweight, had about one drink of alcohol a day, exercised vigorously for 30 minutes or more a day, and had a relatively high intake of cereal fiber and omega 3 fatty acids, found in fish and flaxseed. In addition, healthy diets featured low levels of saturated fat and limited amounts of sugar.

After the researchers adjusted for other heart risks, including age, family history, high blood pressure and menopausal status, a healthy lifestyle reduced risk of heart disease by 82% -- approaching half the risk of women with poorer eating and exercise habits. Hu described the impact of the lifestyle on heart disease as profound, and he speculated that the effects of diet and exercise on heart disease could be even greater. He pointed out that the nurses in the lowest risk category followed guidelines for moderate risk reduction. With stricter guidelines, including an even lower fat intake and eating more fruits and vegetables, risk could drop even lower, the researcher predicted.

Personal Comments:

This reminds me of Dr. Spock.

Dr. Spock studied a lifetime: 50 years researching babies. Its a well known fact among the medical field that the last words he spoke at his deathbed were Dont feed the children meat and dairy products. Now I did not believe everything Dr. Spock wrote or said however he believed in his own research, to his last breath. To start children on a plant based diet as early as possible will give the children a foundation that will carry them the rest of their lives.

I am not a 100% vegetarian because I eat chicken, fish and eggs; however, my last steak, my last prime rib and London broil was in 1979, and I know the difference.

What's really going on in space?

The following multi-part video uncovers the dark history of the NASA space program. It begins with an expose of NASA's Nazi roots; showing how Operation Paperclip was designed to get the Nazi scientises into the U.S. rocket program without being criticised for putting ardent Nazis into high level positions.

The series also discusses the footage taken during the moon "landing." Much of this footage is proven as fake and it should bring about serious doubts about the claims of NASA regarding the moon. The film discusses how and why they faked the footage and gives a great deal of background.

Later in the series, videos are shown from STS-80 and STS-45, which reveal the undeniable presence of UFO's in space. The STS-80 UFO sighting is absolutely spectacular and can, in no way, be made out to be natural phenomena.

I would highly recommend watching the entire series; it is most intriguing...

The Health Benefits of Water Fasting

By Stephen Harrod Buhner
original source

Fasting is an exceptionally ancient, and powerful, approach to healing many common disease conditions. It allows the body to rest, detoxify, and to heal. During fasting the body moves into the same kind of detoxification cycle that it normally enters during sleep. It uses its energy during a fast, not for digesting food, but for cleansing the body of accumulated toxins and healing any parts of it that are ill. As a fast progresses the body consumes everything that it can that is not essential to bodily functioning. This includes bacteria, viruses, fibroid tumors, waste products in the blood, any build up around the joints, and stored fat. The historical record indicates that human beings are evolutionarily designed to fast. It is an incredibly safe approach to healing and the body knows how to do it very well.

The Physiological Changes of Fasting

Many of the most dramatic changes that occur in the body during fasting take place on the first three days of the fast. These occur as the body switches from one fuel source to another. Normally, the primary form of energy the body uses for energy is glucose, a type of sugar. Most of this is extracted or converted from the food we eat. Throughout the day, the liver stores excess sugar in a special form called glycogen that it can call on as energy levels fall between meals. There is enough of this sugar source for 8-12 hours of energy and usually, it is completely exhausted within the first 24 hours of fasting. (However, once the body shifts over to ketosis or fat as fuel, this new fuel is used to also restore the body's glycogen reserves.)

Once the liver's stores of glycogen are gone, the body begins to shift over to what is called ketosis or ketone production - the use of fatty acids as fuel instead of glucose. This shift generally begins on the second day of fasting and completed by the third. In this interim period there is no glucose available and energy from fat conversion is insufficient but the body still needs fuel. So it accesses glucose from two sources. It first converts glycerol, available in the body's fat stores, to glucose but this is still insufficient. So it makes the rest that it needs from catabolizing, or breaking down, the amino acids in muscle tissue, using them in the liver for gluconeogenesis, or the making of glucose. Between 60 and 84 grams of protein are used on this second day, 2-3 ounces of muscle tissue. By the third day ketone production is sufficient to provide nearly all the energy the body needs and the body's protein begins to be strongly conserved. The body still needs a tiny amount of glucose for some functions, however, so a very small amount of protein, 18-24 grams, is still catabolized to supply it - from 1/2 to 1 ounce of muscle tissue per day. Over a 30 day water fast a person generally loses a maximum of 1-2 pounds of muscle mass. This conservation of the body's protein is an evolutionary development that exists to protect muscle tissue and vital organs from damage during periods of insufficient food availability.

From the third day onward the rate of the breakdown of fatty acids from adipose or fat tissue continues to increase, hitting its peak on the tenth day. This seven day period, after the body has shifted completely over to ketosis, is where the maximum breakdown of fat tissue occurs. As part of protein conservation, the body also begins seeking out all non-body-protein sources of fuel: nonessential cellular masses such as fibroid tumors and degenerative tissues, bacteria, viruses, or any other compounds in the body that can be used for fuel. This is part of the reason that fasting produces the kind of health effects it does. Also, during this period of heightened ketosis the body is in a similar state as the one that occurs during sleep - a rest and detoxification cycle. It begins to focus on the removal of toxins from the body and the healing and regeneration of damaged tissues and organs.

Fasting and Healing

Fasting has been found to help a number of disease conditions, often permanently. There have been a number of intriguing clinical trials and studies treating numerous disease conditions with fasting. Here are some of those findings.

  • In one clinical trial of hypertension and fasting, 174 people with hypertension were prefasted for 2-3 days by eating only fruits and vegetables. They then participated in a 10-11 day water only fast, followed by a 6-7 day post fast in which they ate only a low-fat, low- sodium vegan diet. Initial blood pressure in the participants was either in excess of 140 millimeters of mercury (mm HG) systolic or 90 diastolic or both. Ninety percent of the participants achieved blood pressure less than 140/90 by the end of the trial. The higher their initial blood pressure the more their readings dropped. The average drop for all participants was 37/13. Those with stage 3 hypertension (over 180/110) had an average reduction of 60/17. All those taking blood pressure medication prior to fasting were able to discontinue it. Fasting has been shown in a number of trials like this one to be one of the most effective methods for lowering blood pressure and normalizing cardiovascular function. Blood pressure tends to remain low in all those using fasting for cardiovascular disease once fasting is completed.
  • Fasting is exceptionally beneficial in chronic cardiovascular disease and congestive heart failure, reducing triglycerides, atheromas, total cholesterol, and increasing HDL levels.
  • Fasting has been found effective in the treatment of type II diabetes, often reversing the condition permanently.
  • Because of its long term effects on metabolism, fat stores in the body, leptin, and disease conditions associated with obesity, fasting has been found to be one of the most effective treatments for obesity.
  • A number of studies have found that fasting is beneficial in epilepsy, reducing the length, number, and severity of seizures. Fasting is especially effective for helping alleviate or cure childhood epilepsy.
  • In a 1988 trial of 88 people with acute pancreatitis, fasting was found better than any other medical intervention. Neither nasogastric suction or cimetidine were found to produce as beneficial effects as those from fasting. Symptoms were relieved irrespective of the etiology of the disease.
  • A number of studies have found that fasting is effective for treating both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Fasting induces significant antiinflammatory actions in the body and researchers found decreased ESR, arthralgia, pain, stiffness, and need for medication.
  • Autoimmune diseases such as lupus, rosacea, chronic urticaria, and acute glomerulonephritis have all responded well to fasting.
  • Severe toxic contamination has been shown to be significantly helped with fasting. Clinical trials have found that people poisoned with PCB experienced "dramatic" relief after 7-10 day fasts.
  • Poor immune function improves during fasting. Studies have found that there is increased macrophage activity, increased cell-mediated immunity, decreased complement factors, decreased antigen-antibody complexes, increased immunoglobulin levels, increased neutrophil bactericidal activity, depressed lymphocyte blastogenesis, heightened monocyte killing and bactericidal function, and enhanced natural killer cell activity.
  • Other diseases that have responded to fasting are: psychosomatic disease, neurogenic bladder, psoriasis, eczema, thrombophlebitis, varicose ulcers, fibromyalgia, neurocirculatory disease, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, bronchial asthma, lumbago, depression, neurosis, schizophrenia, duodenal ulcers, uterine fibroids, intestinal parasites, gout, allergies, hay fever, hives, multiple sclerosis, and insomnia.
  • The historically lengthy claim that fasting increases life span is beginning to garner some support in research literature. Regularly repeated 4-day fasting has been found to increase the life span in normal and immunocompromised mice.
  • Although the use of fasting in the treatment of cancer is controversial, there is some emerging data SHOWING that fasting helps prevent cancer. Intermittent fasting (2 days weekly) has shown an inhibitory effect on the development of liver cancer in rats.

People Who Should Not Fast

Although most people can fast, there are a few who, because of special
conditions, should not.

  • People who are extremely emaciated or in a state of starvation
  • Those who are anorexic or bulemic
  • Pregnant, diabetic women
  • Nursing mothers
  • Those who have severe anemia
  • Those with an extreme fear of fasting
  • Those with porphyria. Porphyria refers to a genetic metabolic defect that affects the body's ability to manage porphyrins. Porphyrins are a group of compounds that combine with iron to produce blood, are involved in the control of electron transport systems, and, within mitochondria, are intricately involved in the production, accumulation, and utilization of energy. Porphyria can cause malfunctions in the liver, bone marrow, and red blood cells and produces a wide range of symptoms including seizures.
  • People with a rare, genetic, fatty acid deficiency which prevents THE INITIATION OF KETOSIS. This is a deficiency involving the enzyme acetyl-CoA, a mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation enzyme, that is essential to ketosis. Those with this deficiency who do fast can experience severe side effects, including hepatic steatosis, myocardial lipid accumulation, and severe hypoglycemia.

A Note on Pregnancy, Children, and Fasting

Although many fasting texts suggest that pregnant women not fast, those that have been found to suffer side effects were also diabetic. Ketosis during pregnancy can seriously harm the fetus if the mother is diabetic. Fasting during pregnancy if a woman is not pregnant has not been found harmful to either mother or fetus. However, fasts for nondiabetic pregnant women should be no longer than 2-3 weeks duration and be monitored by a health care provider. Children, even infants, can also fast without complications if the fasts are of relatively short duration. For infants 2-3 days, children 1-2 weeks depending on age. These fasts should also be monitored by a health care provider unless of short duration. The need for infants and young children to fast is rare.

Those Who Should Fast Under Health Care Supervision

While most people can fast safely there are some that should do so only under the supervision of a health professional experienced in fasting for healing.
  • Those with serious disease conditions
  • Pregnant women
  • Infants and young children
  • Type I diabetics
  • Those with insufficient kidney function
  • Those who are extremely afraid of fasting yet wish to do so anyway
  • People with a high toxic contamination level of DDT. DDT is stored by the body in a highly concentrated form in fat tissue. Fasting can release huge levels of DDT into the bloodstream as the fat stores are released. This can be quite dangerous.

A pyramid complex has been found in Bosnia - Larger that the Khufu Pyramid of Ghiza

In the last month some earth-shattering developments have occured. Recent excavations have confirmed that a pyramid complex exists in the Bosnian town of Visoko; this complex contains four pyramids, one of which is 1/3 larger than the Khufu pyramid of Ghiza (aka the "great" pyramid).

The researchers believe this pyramid to be quite simmilar to the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico and have given it the name "Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun."

The excavations of the area have discovered a paved entrance plateau as well as underground tunnels which they believe connect the pyramids together. They also found that the distance between the Sun, Moon and Dragon pyramids is exactly equal and forms an equilateral triangle. One of the most intriguing findings indicates that the length of the edge of the Sun pyrmid is 365 meters.

My hope is that the findings regarding the writings in these pyramids as well as their origins are not concealed as was the case in the Khufu Pyramid Complex. There is a chance that an ancient hall of records exists within this complex; records which could tell us a great deal about our place in the universe and our origins. This is not something that the authorities would like us to discover, however, so I would imagine that the information discovered at the complex will be concealed for the most part.

For further research see the following: http://www.bosnianpyramid.com/

Fasting: Day 3

Feeling good for not having eaten for awhile. When awaking this morning I saw stars, but have yet to have passed out or had a dizzy spell. Dreams over the past couple of nights have centered around the eating of carbs and meat; which are, of course, two of the most craved food substances.

Overall, this body feels much cleaner and healthier than, before. Although it is difficult and draining to do this sort of thing, it is well worth it both in the short and long term. A free surgery without cutting, done by the body itself, is a valuable thing indeed.

It is easy to tell, at this point, that the body is burning off fats and all manner of degenerate tissue. This is done so that any new tissue can grow in a better environment. Were these things not to be burned off, it is likely that the body would secum to old age sooner as well as experience more pain and dysfunction during the middle to latter years of its lifespan.

I would highly recommend this to all of you. It is something that you will may not appreciate during the fast, but will understand afterwards.

Tool releases the first single, Vicarious

Tool recently released this single from their new album, 10,000 Days, to radio stations throught the country. I don't understand why they didn't, at least, stream a full version from their site so that people can hear it, so I'm going to offer it here for all of you who haven't been able to hear it yet.

Why should radio stations get a monopoly on it when its going to get out anyways?

>> download Vicarious <<

The complete album is to be released on May 2.

Time to fast

"Fasting is, without any doubt, the most effective biological method of treatment... it is the 'operation without surgery'... it is a cure involving exudation, reattunement, redirection, loosening up and purified relaxation. While fasting, the patient improves her or his physical health and gains much. But he or she will have neglected the most important thing if the hunger for spiritual nourishment that manifests itself during fasting is not satisfied."
- Otto Buchinger, Sr., M.D.

The Northern Hemisphere has reached a time which is an optimal time to fast. It is important to fast at this time so that the toxins, which accumulate in the body from a variety of sources, are released.

Pragmatically speaking, this time of year is optimal for the following reasons:
  • For the first time this year, the temperature has warmed to the level at which the body can more easily cope with the lack of food energy.
  • It is helpful to cleanse the body of the buildup of winter foods body before partaking in the foods of springtime; this helps to assure that toxins don't accumulate and it allows the body to more fully absorb the nutrients contained in the fresh produce of Spring.
If fasting is, as I believe, one of the foundations of a healthy and prosperous life, then it is a shame to see that so few are fasting in the modern age. The only people who I know that take part in regular fasts are Eastern Orthodox Christians who have yet to abandon the age old practice. Fasting is certainly something to be taken seriously and done regularly at the right times and under the right conditions.

I intend to eat a large amount of lettuce and other fresh raw vegetables today. Between Monday and Thursday, however, it will be nothing but water and some occasional vinegar in order to aid in the cleansing process. Fasts are meaningful and highly spritual experiences, which help one to appreciate what they have as well as helping one to contend with their cravings in order to reach a higher state of being.

MSNBC Poll: 86% believe Bush should be Impeached

The tide is turning... 250,000+ responses so far.

see for yourself and vote in the poll

I hope that the impeachment proceedings, were they even to occur, don't leave out the other top officials and, of course, the involvement in the 911. If these proceedings were to have any integrity whatsoever, they would also examine the involvement of foreign governments and organizations.

One of the worst case scenerios would be an impeachment of Bush which blames him for ignoring the 911 and closes the case at that. The best case, IMO, would be a full inquiry into the 911 as well as indictment of all of those within the United States and other nations such as Israel who were involved.

I must admit, however, that we are in a society in which Orwellian doublespeak is taken as gospel; I doubt that any impeachment proceedings would be anything more than a whitewash. If the president were to resign, it is likely that he will be pardoned and that none of the true perpetrators of 911 will be fined a single dollar or spend any time in jail.

Jewish "Thought Police" organizations are at it again

The Zionist warmongers have a variety of methods for getting you to shut up and submit to their atrocities. I, for one, refuse to submit to their intimidation. I am tired of seeing organizations such as the ADL and Bnai Brith use their money and influence to shut people up and, in Europe and Canada, throw them in jail.

They label anyone who presents any evidence contrary to the official story about the Holocaust a "holocaust denier" and they go after anyone who defends the free speech of those who are inclined to be critical of the details regarding that event. I think that it is time that these organizations were abolished, since they are quite corrupt and their actions are reprehensible.

BANNED FOR SPEAKING OUT POPULAR MUSICIAN, BAND VICTIMS OF THOUGHT COPS
AFP - American Free Press (Issue ..13, March 27, 2006)
By Michael Collins Piper

The thought police are now turning into the music police, if a recent incident at Rutgers University in New Jersey is any indication.

One of Americas brightest young entertainers was recently barred from performing on the Rutgers campus, not because of any controversial lyrics in his music, but simply because his Internet web site contained political commentary that some people deemed to be offensive.

Paul Topete and his rock band, Poker Face, have been entertaining audiences-young and old and of all races and creeds-at concerts and gatherings up and down the East Coast for over a decade. But Topete and the band have also carved out a particular niche in what has been called the patriotic movement because there is a distinct pro-freedom slant in the lyrics to some of their songs.

Because of this-plus because the groups music is just plain great-Poker Face has become well-known for its appearances at patriot gatherings. The Poker Face band members believe in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and bring a message of peace and liberty in their appearances.

Despite all this, Topete and Poker Face recently came under savage assault from a tiny yet bellicose left-wing pressure group, calling itself the One Peoples Party (OPP). The OPP was determined to keep the band from playing at the state convention of the Libertarian Party of New Jersey, an event being held on the campus at Rutgers University. In fact, this would have been a repeat performance for Poker Face, which played at last years Libertarian convention.

OPP began a loud and aggressive smear campaign, raising a ruckus not because of anything in the music of Poker Face. The group went after Poker Face because its web site featured, among other things, commentary critical of prosecutions of thousands of people in Europe-including internationally-known best-selling historian, David Irving, sentenced to three years in jail in Austria-on thought control measures that level criminal charges and imprisonment upon those found guilty of the ambiguous accusation of denying the Holocaust.

Topete-who has both Jewish and Israeli friends who are fully aware of his opposition to laws prohibiting freedom of expression-was accused by the OPP of being anti-Semitic. And, perhaps even worse, Topete was accused of being a Holocaust denier himself-not because he questioned the Holocaust, but because he dared to defend the right of free speech for those who do.

Ironically, Topete-who is the son of a Mexican-born father who immigrated legally to the United States-was also accused of racism because he has been an outspoken critic of illegal immigration into the United States and has defended the work of the Minutemen, the group that is rallying grass-roots citizens to challenge public officials who refuse to stop the immigration invasion.

Topete has dared to point out that one reason why the United States is facing an immigration invasion is that international big money corporate interests have foisted measures such as the North American Free Trade Agreement and the Central American Free Trade Agreement (part of the whole global managed trade scam) on the people of the United States, Mexico and the whole Caribbean region. He contends that this is the real cause of the economic turmoil that is driving refugees north across the American border.

Topete comments: The real haters hate the truth. Period.

So the truth is that there was nothing racist or hateful in the lyrics of the music of Poker Face that was deemed to be troublesome-only the political views of the lead singer, Topete, which, in truth, are simply old-fashioned Americanism and patriotism.

Predictably, local media picked up on the artificially generated controversy and effectively gave the OPP agitators a propaganda edge, drawing attention to the affair. Despite the assault on Poker Face by the leftist agitators, the Libertarian Party stood behind Poker Face, with one party spokesman declaring, Nothing in their music says anything about racism or anti-Semitism.

Still, the OPP agitators prevailed. Because the Libertarian convention was being held on the Rutgers campus, university officials canceled the Poker Face appearance.

The publicly funded universitys official public position-so as not to be accused of interfering with First Amendment guarantees of freedom of expression-was that the Poker Face participation had to be canceled for the ostensible reason that the bands music might interfere with other events being held in the same campus facility that day. The university claimed that Poker Face had been permitted to play last year because there were no other events scheduled that day.

The real story, though, is that the thought police won the day and the OPP had acted as their public front doing the dirty work of behind the scenes smear-bunds such as the powerful Anti-Defamation League (ADL) of Bnai Brith and the allied Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

Both well-funded private spy organizations, the ADL and the SPLC, lent their expertise in heavy-handed censorship and defamation against Topete and Poker Face.

The ADL acts primarily as an intelligence and propaganda conduit for the Israeli intelligence service, which closely monitors American political dissent of all types, concerned about possible opposition to Israel, whereas the SPLC is the plaything and cash cow of veteran agitator and leftist fundraiser Morris Dees.

If anyone still has any doubt about the growing impact of efforts to ban freedom of expression-now even freedom of music-on American soil, the story of Poker Face is one that people need to remember. But Topete and Poker Face refused to be silenced and they are now even more committed than ever to speaking-and singing-out.... (more...)

Orwellian schemes are being hatched in the UK

Recently, I've been following the development of a "mark of the beast" sort of scheme going on in the UK. The legislation, which has recently passed in the House of Commons, will require that everyone in the U.K. have a National ID which has a chip and a centralized database full of personal details. In the database, it will have almost everything that you do as well as many of the details of what you do as you go about your day.

Many people are of the impression that such a database will not be abused by the government, but what will they say if the government actually begins, for whatever reason, passing curfew and quarantine legislation or strictly regulating the circumstances upon which one can buy or sell?

Truth about ID cards

The UK ID card is not what you think it is. It is not a simple identity document like your passport or driving licese. It is in fact, a database backed control grid and the fulfilment of Orwells nightmare.

You may have heard that legislation creating compulsory ID Cards passed a crucial stage in the House of Commons. You may feel that ID cards are not something to worry about, since we already have Photo ID for our Passport and Driving License and an ID Card will be no different to that. What you have not been told is the full scope of this proposed ID Card, and what it will mean to you personally.

The proposed ID Card will be different from any card you now hold. It will be connected to a database called the NIR, (National Identity Register)., where all of your personal details will be stored. This will include the unique number that will be issued to you, your fingerprints, a scan of the back of your eye, and your photograph. Your name, address and date of birth will also obviously be stored there.

There will be spaces on this database for your religion, residence status, and many other private and personal facts about you. There is unlimited space for every other details of your life on the NIR database, which can be expanded by the Government with or without further Acts of Parliament.

By itself, you might think that this register is harmless, but you would be wrong to come to this conclusion. This new card will be used to check your identity against your entry in the register in real time, whenever you present it to 'prove who you are'.

Every place that sells alcohol or cigarettes, every post office, every pharmacy, and every Bank will have an NIR Card Terminal, (very much like the Chip and Pin Readers that are everywhere now) into which your card can be 'swiped' to check your identity. Each time this happens, a record is made at the NIR of the time and place that the Card was presented. This means for example, that there will be a government record of every time you withdraw more than 99 at your branch of Nat West, who now demand ID for these transactions. Every time you have to prove that you are over 18, your card will be swiped, and a record made at the NIR. Restaurants and off licenses will demand that your card is swiped so that each receipt shows that they sold alcohol to someone over 18, and that this was proved by the access to the NIR, indemnifying them from prosecution.

Private businesses are going to be given access to the NIR Database. If you want to apply for a job, you will have to present your card for a swipe. If you want to apply for a London Underground Oyster Card,or a supermarket loyalty card, or a driving license you will have to present your ID Card for a swipe. The same goes for getting a telephone line or a mobile phone or an internet account.

Oyster, DVLA, BT and Nectar (for example) all run very detailed databases of their own. They will be allowed access to the NIR,just as every other business will be. This means that each of these entities will be able to store your unique number in their database, and place all your travel, phone records, driving activities and detailed shopping habits under your unique NIR number. These databases, which can easily fit on a storage device the size of your hand, will be sold to third parties either legally or illegally. It will then be possible for a non governmental entity to create a detailed dossier of all your activities. Certainly, the government will have clandestine access to all of them, meaning that they will have a complete record of all your movements, from how much and when you withdraw from your bank account to what medications you are taking, down to the level of what sort of bread you eat - all accessible via a single unique number in a central database.

This is quite a significant leap from a simple ID Card that shows your name and face.

Most people do not know that this is the true character and scope of the proposed ID Card. Whenever the details of how it will work are explained to them, they quickly change from being ambivalent towards it.

The Government is going to COMPEL you to enter your details into the NIR and to carry this card. If you and your children want to obtain or renew your passports, you will be forced to have your fingerprints taken and your eyes scanned for the NIR, and an ID Card will be issued to you whether you want one or not. If you refuse to be fingerprinted and eye scanned, you will not be able to get a passport. Your ID Card will, just like your passport, not be your property. The Home Secretary will have the right to revoke or suspend your ID at any time, meaning that you will not be able to withdraw money from your Bank Account, for example, or do anything that requires you to present your government issued ID Card.

The arguments that have been put forwarded in favour of ID Cards can be easily disproved. ID Cards WILL NOT stop terrorists; every Spaniard has a compulsory ID Card as did the Madrid Bombers. ID Cards will not 'eliminate benefit fraud', which in comparison, is small compared to the astronomical cost of this proposal, which will be measured in billions according to the LSE (London School of Economics). This scheme exists solely to exert total surveillance and control over the ordinary free British Citizen, and it will line the pockets of the companies that will create the computer systems at the expense of your freedom, privacy and money.

If you did not know the full scope of the proposed ID Card Scheme before and you are as unsettled as I am at what it really means to you, to this country and its way of life, I urge you to email or photocopy this and give it to your friends and colleagues and everyone else you think should know and who cares. The Bill has proceeded to this stage due to the lack of accurate and complete information on this proposal being made public. Together & Hand to hand, we can inform the entire nation if everyone who receives this passes it on.

Frances Stonor Saunders.

This song rings so true to me...

Egoism dictates human relations
A world where fashion outshines morality
Here success is written in blood-red colours
Designed by the thirst for power

Gather the faithful and propose a toast
To the epoch of indifference

An all to ordinary story
With aftertaste so bitter
Forced to be someone I don't want to be
I'm losing myself. sinking deeper down
I'm caught in the world wound web

A time represented by the void
An excuse without content
Stuck in the abyss of existence
With a content void of excuse

An all to ordinary story
This is my story
With an aftertaste so bitter

Sinking deeper down
I'm caught - I'm cage
I'm gone

~in flames
