MSNBC Poll: 86% believe Bush should be Impeached

The tide is turning... 250,000+ responses so far.

I hope that the impeachment proceedings, were they even to occur, don't leave out the other top officials and, of course, the involvement in the 911. If these proceedings were to have any integrity whatsoever, they would also examine the involvement of foreign governments and organizations.

One of the worst case scenerios would be an impeachment of Bush which blames him for ignoring the 911 and closes the case at that. The best case, IMO, would be a full inquiry into the 911 as well as indictment of all of those within the United States and other nations such as Israel who were involved.

I must admit, however, that we are in a society in which Orwellian doublespeak is taken as gospel; I doubt that any impeachment proceedings would be anything more than a whitewash. If the president were to resign, it is likely that he will be pardoned and that none of the true perpetrators of 911 will be fined a single dollar or spend any time in jail.
