9/11: Challenge Me on the Facts!

This was a copy and paste job of all of much of the evidence surrounding the events of the 911. I will revise and update this over the next few days, eventually putting a permanent banner and link to this for future reference. There needs to be a repository of all of this stuff on mystrangemind.com.

Any challenges or comments are greatly appreciated as they can only help to improve this source. Enjoy!!

This one is for the skeptics who keep pretending that the 911 "Omission" Commision Report is valid enough to to not require a new investigation. The report doesn't mention anything about explosions, even though these witnesses did. This is simply a couple hours worth of searching and pasting. "Skeptics" be sure to view these all before commenting about how they're all insignificant.

"Shortly after 9 o'clock [...] [Albert Turi the Chief of Safety for the New York Fire Department] received word of the possibility of a secondary device, that is another bomb going off. He tried to get his men out as quickly as he could, but he said there was another explosion which took place, and then an hour after the first hit, the first crash that took place, he said there was another explosion that took place in one of the towers here, so obviously according to his theory he thinks that there were actually devices that were planted in the building.

One of the secondary devices he thinks that took place after the initial impact he thinks may have been on the plane that crashed into one of the towers. The second device, he thinks, he speculates, was probably planted in the building."

"It [WTC 2] started exploding," said Ross Milanytch, 57, who works at nearby Chase Manhattan Bank. "It was about the 70th floor. And each second another floor exploded out for about eight floors, before the cloud obscured it all." [ASNE] "I saw small explosions on each floor." [Wing TV]

One eyewitness whose office is near the World Trade Center told AFP that he was standing among a crowd of people on Church Street, about two-and-a-half blocks from the South tower, when he saw "a number of brief light sources being emitted from inside the building between floors 10 and 15." He saw about six of these brief flashes, accompanied by "a crackling sound" before the tower collapsed. Each tower had six central support columns. [American Free Press]

"When I looked in the direction of the Trade Center before it came down, before No. 2 came down, ..I saw low-level flashes. In my conversation with Lieutenant Evangelista, never mentioning this to him, he questioned me and asked me if I saw low-level flashes in front of the building, and I agreed with him because I thought -- at that time I didn't know what it was. I mean, it could have been as a result of the building collapsing, things exploding, but I saw a flash flash flash and then it looked like the building came down."

Photojournalists at Ground Zero

David Handschuh: "Instinctively I lifted the camera up, and something took over that probably saved my life. And that was to run rather than take pictures. I got down to the end of the block and turned the corner when a wave a hot, solid, black wave of heat threw me down the block. It literally picked me up off my feet, and I wound up about a block away". "Handschuh was thrown under a vehicle, which probably saved him from the falling debris, he said," according to the PDNonline story.

Don Halasy: "As I turned to run, a wall of warm air came barrelling toward me. I tried to outrace it, but it swept me up and literally blew me into the wall of a building. By the time I regained my footing, a hailstorm of debris was falling from the sky."

Edmund McNally phoned his wife Liz twice following the [WTC 2] aircraft impact. Mr McNally said in his second phone call "Liz, this was a terrorist attack. I can hear explosions below me.'' [NY Times]

Tom Elliott, WTC 2 survivor: They saw only two firemen going up. They told them there had been an explosion near the 60th floor. [csmonitor]

Kim White, WTC 1 survivor: We got down as far as the 74th floor ... Then there was another explosion, so we left again by the stairwell. [People]

Explosions occurred below the aircraft impact levels in both towers prior to the collapses. The following gives a reason for the explosions:

[Lieutenant Fireman and former Auxiliary Police Officer, Paul Isaac Jr.] explained to me that, many other firemen know there were bombs in the buildings, but theyre afraid for their jobs to admit it because the higher-ups forbid discussion of this fact. Paul further elaborated that former CIA director Robert Woolsey, as the Fire Departments Anti-terrorism Consultant, is sending a gag order down the ranks. There were definitely bombs in those buildings, he told me. [Prison Planet]

Edited wma file of 9/11 firefighters' transmissions

The above wma file is edited from the 9/11 radio transmissions of North Brunswick Volunteer Fire/Ladder Company ..3. The file begins with the collapse of the south tower, @3:23 there are three beeps - this signifies that time has moved on roughly 20 minutes to the collapse of the north tower.

Numerous reports of explosions are made in the transmissions...

"Tower two has had major explosion and what appears to be a complete collapse"

"...those involved in the secondary explosion at tower 1, 'kay, I've got five patients..."

"We have got numerous people covered in dust from the secondary explosion..."

"We've got another explosion at the tower..."

If a firefighter who was interviewed said, "I heard what sounded like explosions and I think it was bombs that took down those towers, it was all so horrible", the press will merely get the portion that says: "it was all so horrible". [rense.com]

Cary Sheih: In WTC 1 stairwell as WTC 2 collapsed

I was a few floors from the ground. Floor,,,,4,,,,then all of a sudden, a loud boom, and the building began to shake unbearably again. People started falling down the stairwell as smoke started to rise from the bottom. The emergency lights flickered and then went out. The building was still shaking, and I could hear the steel buckling.

"Floor by floor it started popping out."

"It was if they had detonators and they planned to take down a building."

Q. "Was that on the lower level of the building or up where the fire was?"

A. "No, the lower level of the building. You know like when they demolish a building, how when they blow up a building, when it falls down? That's what I thought I saw. And I didn't broach the topic to him, but he asked me. He said I don't know if I'm crazy, but I just wanted to ask you because you were standing right next to me He said did you see any flashes? I said, yes, well, I thought it was just me. He said no, I saw them, too." [Stephen Gregory -- Assistant Commissioner (F.D.N.Y.)]

Larry Silverstein, WTC 7, and the 9/11 Demolition [Details]

We are told that WTC 7 collapsed through fire, yet Larry Silverstein says the building was "pulled" (i.e. demolished). Videos of the collapse and other evidence shows that the building was indeed demolished. When and why was this building rigged for demolition?

A block and a half away from the World Trade Center the ground shook "like a thousand trains" before WTC 2 collapsed.

The ground shake was estimated to have lasted between 15 and 30 seconds...

Tim Marmion: Firefighter in WTC 1 stairwell as WTC 2 collapsed

At that point our building started to shake like an earthquake, just like shook, you wouldnt believe being in a building this size that it could shake literally this much. The lights went out, and the shaking stopped. During the shaking, which lasted it couldve been 15 to 30 seconds, which is a pretty long time.

"Somewhere around the middle of the World Trade Center, there was this orange and red flash coming out. Initially it was just one flash. Then this flash just kept popping all the way around the building and that building had started to explode. The popping sound, and with each popping sound it was initially an orange and then a red flash came out of the building and then it would just go all around the building on both sides as far as I could see. These popping sounds and the explosions were getting bigger, going both up and down and then all around the building." [Karin Deshore - Captain (E.M.S.)]

Eyewitness on the Brooklyn Bridge

[...] at mid-point in the bridge, we felt a rumble like faraway thunder and turned. The impossible was happening. The south tower of the World Trade Center shook, and in what resembled an elemental act, fell to earth in a mighty shout.

"It was a frigging noise. At first I thought it was -- do you ever see professional demolition where they set the charges on certain floors and then you hear "Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop" That's exactly what -- because I thought it was that. When I heard that frigging noise, that's when I saw the building coming down." [Daniel Rivera - Paramedic (E.M.S.)]

"It actually gave at a lower floor, not the floor where the plane hit, because we originally had thought there was like an internal detonation explosives because it went in succession, boom, boom, boom, boom, and then the tower came down." [Ed Cachia -- Firefighter [Engine 53]]

"If you've seen many of the managed demolitions where they implode a building and they cause it to essentially to fall vertically because they cause all of the vertical columns to fail simultaneously, that's exactly what it looked like and that's what happened" - Matthys Levy, co author Why buildings Fall Down

Peter Tully, president of [Tully Construction], was, notably, the only person willing to speak openly with AFP about his work at the WTC site. ... Think of the thousands of file cabinets, computers, and telephones in those towersI never saw oneevery thing was pulverized, Tully said. Everything that was above gradeabove the 6th and 7th floordisintegrated . . . it was like an explosion. Tully Construction specializes in concrete. AFP asked Tully if he had ever seen concrete pulverized as it was at the WTC. Nonever, he said. [AFP]

ABC shows video of the southern tower of the WTC folding, noting it happened just moments ago. My God, says Jennings, Were talking about massive casualties. Jennings begins to speculate that in order to demolish a building, there must be detonation at its base. He seems to be suggesting further bombs. Reporter Don Dahler steps in to change the direction of the thinking, The top part was totally involvedthe weight at the top collapsed the buildingthere was no explosion at the bottom.

Peter Jennings says Im still confused about what caused the building to collapse, over powerful, close up video of the first tower breaking apart and falling.

Construction worker Phillip Morelli describes being thrown to the ground by two explosions while in the fourth subbasement of the North Tower. The first, which threw him to the ground and seemed to coincide with the plane crash, was followed by a larger blast that again threw him to the ground and this time blew out walls. He then made his way to the South Tower and was in the subbasement there when the second plane hit, again associated with a powerful underground blast. This is one of a series of interviews with WTC survivors done by NY1 News: http://ny1.com/pages/RRR/911special_survivors.html

Explosions in the WTC-1 lobby

This video was recorded on 9/11/01. In it, a man in FDNY uniform clearly states: "...trying to get some of the people out, then they saw secondary explosions and then the subsequent collapses. So I don't know how many people were in there; I know there's were a lot of firefighters and a lot of public safety personnel were in there." (download video) (download MP3)

The word "explosions" does not appear anywhere in the searchable 567-page report!

...maybe that's why Mayor Giuliani and others were warned that the towers were going to collapse.

How was this known, and why were only a select few warned?

Listen to the firefighters' transmissions and ask yourself that question

Visual Evidence of Controlled Demolition.

Seismic Evidence

But although some kind of "black" technology may have been used in the demolition of the Twin Towers, we do not need to establish this, since their collapse can be explained as a controlled demolition brought about by explosives. In fact (as Christopher Bollyn was the first to point out in his Open Letter) evidence for massive explosions was captured by a seismograph located 34 km from the WTC:

http://www.ldeo.columbia.edu/LCSN/Eq/wtc_fig_01.gif

A "sharp spike of short duration" is how an underground nuclear explosion appears on a seismograph.

Seismographs at Columbia University's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory in Palisades, New York, 21 miles north of the WTC, recorded strange seismic activity on September 11 that has still not been explained.

While the aircraft crashes caused minimal earth shaking, significant earthquakes with unusual spikes occurred at the beginning of each collapse. The Palisades seismic data recorded a 2.1 magnitude earthquake during the 10-second collapse of the South Tower at 9:59:04 and a 2.3 quake during the 8-second collapse of the North Tower at 10:28:31.

The Palisades seismic record shows that as the collapses began a huge seismic "spike" marked the moment the greatest energy went into the ground. The strongest jolts were all registered at the beginning of the collapses, well before the falling debris struck the earth. These unexplained "spikes" in the seismic data lend credence to the theory that massive explosions at the base of the towers caused the collapses.

The two unexplained spikes are more than twenty times the amplitude of the other seismic waves associated with the collapses and occurred in the East-West seismic recording as the buildings began to fall.

Lerner-Lam told AFP that a 10-fold increase in wave amplitude indicates a 100-fold increase in energy released. These "short-period surface waves," reflect "the interaction between the ground and the building foundation," according to a report from Columbia Earth Institute.

"The seismic effects of the collapses are comparable to the explosions at a gasoline tank farm near Newark on January 7, 1983," the Palisades Seismology Group reported on Sept. 14, 2001.

One of the seismologists, Won-Young Kim, told AFP that the Palisades seismographs register daily underground explosions from a quarry 20 miles away. These blasts are caused by 80,000 lbs. of ammonium nitrate and cause local earthquakes between Magnitude 1 and 2. Kim said the 1993 truck-bomb at the WTC did not register on the seismographs because it was "not coupled" to the ground.

Experts cannot explain why the seismic waves peaked before the towers hit the ground. Asked about these spikes seismologist Arthur Lerner-Lam, director of Columbia University's Center for Hazards and Risk Research told AFP, "This is an element of current research and discussion. It is still being investigated."

"Only a small fraction of the energy from the collapsing towers was converted into ground motion," Lerner-Lam said. "The ground shaking that resulted from the collapse of the towers was extremely small."

Last November, Lerner-Lam said, "During the collapse, most of the energy of the falling debris was absorbed by the towers and the neighboring structures, converting them into rubble and dust or causing other damage but not causing significant ground shaking,"

Evidently, the energy source that shook the ground beneath the towers was many times more powerful than the total potential energy released by the falling mass of the huge towers.

Someone painstakingly read through all the 9/11 Transcripts and Police Reports archived at theMemoryHole.org. Below is the compendium of excerpts he assembled -- excerpts that tell of events at variance with the official 9-11 story. Make of them what you will.

EXPLOSIONS:

Lieutenant Michael Murphy
Handwritten report.
Pages 3&4

We came upon the NYPD Chief of Detectives with a couple of his men. They appeared to be appraising the situation. We proceeded past them and were within a block of WTC when a couple of loud explosions occurred in front of us.

0933 PO Keane reporting from Stairway-C on the 66th floor, 1 WTC states that she heard another explosion.

(pa-police-reports01.pdf page 61)
P.O. Anthony C. Croce
Handwritten Memorandum page 3

We kept hearing explosions that would shake the whole room. People were saying, Theres another one and another one. I heard reports of secondary bomb explosions, missiles being shot at towers and others.

(pa-police-reports02.pdf pages 58 & 59)
Detective Michael S Shuhala
The Port Authority of NY & NJ Memorandum Office of Inspector General
Page 2

Conditions were slow going on the stairwell due to the volume of people. You would move two or three steps at a time and stop. Every second or third floor would be filled with smoke that lasted one or two floors then the stairwell would become clear. It was most surprising that the fire alarms and strobe lights were not activated."

Pages 2&3

When we reached the 15th floor, the building began to vibrate and shake. I heard loud explosions and rumblings in the background. The stairwell shifted and gave out a large metal on metal groan. The stairwell then twisted back into place with another loud groan. The lights went out. At that point the stairwell became filled with smoke and dust."

(pa-police-reports02.pdf page 69)
Roger Fernandez
Letter to Captain Trucillo Port Authority Police Department Internal Affairs
Page 1

As we descended Stairwell C, a large cloud of smoke with an odor of fuel, rapidly ascended and overtook us causing many on the lower levels to start choking and coughing. This immediately caused panic as the people on the lower floors were trying to go up while those above us were still making their way down.

(pa-police-reports02.pdf page 88)
Sergeant Michael McGarry
Chronicle of Response and Rescue Efforts September 11, 2001
Page 1

Within a short period of time (approximately of an hour) one of the buildings to the World Trade Center collapsed. During this time period there were numerous explosions, causing us to leave and re-enter the incident area.

(pa-police-reports02.pdf pages 94 & 95)
P.O. Sue Keane ..826
Handwritten Memorandum
Page 2

At some point we could hear another plane then a hit. Then what sounded like explosions one after another or like a train coming fast. At this point the explosion was loud; the area went completely black.

Page 3

Massive amounts of debris, concrete dust and bodies or parts were more frequent at this point. Then there was an eerie silence and it was like you knew something was going to happen. There just seemed to be one explosion after another. I was separated from the guys from the bridge (GWB) by another explosion, massive again, sucking the air out of your lungs and then just a wind more intense this time with larger pieces of debris flying.

(pa-police-reports03.pdf page 77)
Lieutenant Daniel A. Carbonaro
Port Authority of NY & NJ Memorandum
Page 2

We continued our efforts until the combination of dust, smoke and secondary explosions along with reports of gas main leaks, bombs, small arms fire and buildings about to collapse forced us to again relocate further north on West Street.

(pa-police-reports04.pdf pages 4&5)
P.O. Middleton ..1207
Memorandum
Page 1

I was approximately one block away from Tower One when Tower Two appeared to explode at the roof top and several floors below. Then fire balls and debris shot out of the windows and rocketed into the skies and fall below.

Page 2

As I continued to wave them back periodically you would hear a loud boom go off at the top of tower one. As the building continued to burn and emergency equipment kept on responding stirring up the dust and debris in the streets. After approximately 15 minutes suddenly there was another loud boom at the upper floors, then there was a series of smaller explosions which appeared to go completely around the building at the upper floors. And another loud earth- shattering blast with a large fire ball which blew out more debris and at that point everyone began to run north on West Broad Street.

(pa-police-reports04.pdf page 6)
Det. Thomas M. Inman
Memorandum
Page 1

As a roll call was being taken of the responding Detectives, Tower ..2 began to collapse. This occurred after a secondary explosion on the west side of the tower that appeared to take place in the high 60s. The area above the secondary explosion actually leaned to the west and then the collapse took place.

(pa-police-reports04.pdf page 88)
Detective Salvatore Piro
Port Authority of NY & NJ Memorandum
Page 1

At that point, I heard a low sounding boom and the smoke intensified. There was more debris falling and as I heard a big roar, I saw Tower One coming down.

"MALE A: Because they cant come down. Theres f**king explosions going off on Vesey Street. There is debris coming down. I dont want him coming down that way. I want to bring off of West Street, but I dont know how secure the site is there.
MALE B: I know, did another plane crash?
MALE A: No, they said it, but we dont think so. Theres been been numerous explosions on the like 89th, 92nd floor."

And last but not least the 911 Eyewitness video, which appears to corroborate many of those eyewitness accounts.
