Recent assults on the civil liberties of Americans

Several new provisions have been added to the patriot act; provisions which are alarming, to say the least. America is now in a state of martial law, albeit a low degree of martial law. If Americans fail to express dissent towards these activities; activities which undermine the constitutional framework of this republic, then they will, with the passage of time, lose every freedom they have.

Illuminazi 9/11 - must see!

The following video features Jordan Maxwell, Anthony J. Hilder, former FBI chief agent Ted Gunderson and several other individuals who are adept in their understanding of the occult and the 9/11 conspiracy. They describe America's situation and lay out the plan for the New World Order in a succinct way.

I hope that you find this video to be informative and see it, not as entertainment, but as the cold and brutal reality in which we exist. Let us not forget that it is the job of every human being to protect their own rights and liberties.

big suprise... no public inquiry into the 7/7 bombings.

7/7 inquiry would be a 'distraction', says Clarke

Charles Clarke provoked anger among Islamic leaders and families of the victims of the London bombings today when he confirmed that there would be no public inquiry to investigate the atrocity.

The Home Secretary said that an independent inquiry into the July 7 attacks was not suitable, because the bombings were still the subject of a police investigation. What's more, an inquiry would offer a "distraction" from future terrorist threats and take too long to report, Mr Clarke said.

Instead, a senior civil servant will compile a "narrative" describing the bombings, using evidence already collected by the police, the security services and two House of Commons select committees.

Mr Clarke was immediately invited to change his mind. Sir Iqbal Sacranie, secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, said an inquiry was essential to explore the wider causes of the bombings, including the role of the Iraq war and the alienation of young British Muslims in motivating the four suicide bombers who blew themselves up on London's transport system.

"The Muslim working groups set up by Home Office in the aftermath of July 7 said they believed that the Iraq war was a ‘key contributory factor’ in the radicalisation occurring in some young Muslims," said Sir Iqbal.

"A public inquiry would be able to ascertain if this was indeed the case. We believe it is in our country’s wider interest to hold a public inquiry and we call on the Government to think again on this crucial matter."

Relatives of the 52 people who died in the attacks also criticised the decision, as opposition MPs called for an inquiry to investigate the intelligence failures which preceded the bombings and possible links to the failed attacks of July 21.

Saba Mozakka, whose mother Behnaz died in the Piccadilly Line blast, said that it was "unacceptable" not to hold a public inquiry.

"This is not acceptable to us and the families will be campaigning for there to be a full public inquiry," she said. "A narrative of events will not satisfy anybody. This is not something we will go away on."

The Shadow Homeland Affairs Minister Patrick Mercer said: "We want an inquiry independent of government. That independent inquiry should ask questions about the surveillance of the suspects before the attack, the lowering of the level of alert five weeks before the attack, and links between home-grown and international terrorists."

"In addition, it should examine any links between the perpetrators of the July 7 attack and the perpetrators of the attempted attack on July 21."

Earlier, Mr Clarke outlined three reasons why he believed a public inquiry should not be held.

"We are involved in a murder investigation, that is a very active investigation," he said. "Secondly, we are looking at potential future threats... and that is a very important thing not to be distracted from. Thirdly, the time factor. I have always been a sceptic... of the length of time that inquiries of this kind do actually take and the distraction which they offer.

"The question is, can we get an account of what actually happened for and around July 7 in a way that deals with all the vast speculations there have been in a whole series of different areas? And I think that it is the first way to address it," Mr Clarke told BBC Radio 4's Today programme.

"Certainly there is no question of a cover up of any kind."

Mr Clarke believes an independent inquiry could jeopardise the ongoing investigation into the lives and possible accomplices of the four men - Shehzad Tanweer, Jermaine Lindsay, Mohammad Sidique Khan and Hasib Hussain - who carried out the bombings. Launched immediately after the attacks, Britain's largest murder hunt has yet to make an arrest.

What ever happened to Posse Comitatus?

Visit any shopping center, sporting event or restaurant and think about what you see there. Do you think that, as long as these people are contented with games and food, that they will care about the gradual erosion of liberty and the incremental increases in the power of the president?

After a rare stroll through the shopping mall yesterday, I came to this conclusion; nobody knows or cares about what is happening. Those who do find it necessary to pay attention, are generally caught up in the phony left-right paradigm and fail to see that the government is using this paradigm to destroy the constitution and bill of rights.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that, since the bombing of the Oklahoma City Federal Building, our basic rights and liberties have gradually been taken away.

The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 provides that the military cannot be used for unconstitutional purposes such as law enforcement, yet troops are now being used in schools in Austin, Texas. Martial law has already been implemented in parts of this country; I hear very few voices of dissent as of yet. I don't expect that voices of dissent will arise in America until its too late.

SEC. 15.From and after the passage of this act it shall not be lawful to employ any part of the Army of the United States, as a posse comitatus, or otherwise, for the purpose of executing the laws, except in such cases and under such circumstances as such employment of said force may be expressly authorized by the Constitution or by act of Congress; and no money appropriated by this act shall be used to pay any of the expenses incurred in the employment of any troops in violation of this section And any person willfully violating the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be punished by fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars or imprisonment not exceeding two years or by both such fine and imprisonment.

Hijack 'suspects' alive and well

source: BBC

Waleed Al Shehri
Waleed Al Shehri left the US a year ago, he says

Another of the men named by the FBI as a hijacker in the suicide attacks on Washington and New York has turned up alive and well.

The identities of four of the 19 suspects accused of having carried out the attacks are now in doubt.

Saudi Arabian pilot Waleed Al Shehri was one of five men that the FBI said had deliberately crashed American Airlines flight 11 into the World Trade Centre on 11 September.

His photograph was released, and has since appeared in newspapers and on television around the world.

Now he is protesting his innocence from Casablanca, Morocco.

He told journalists there that he had nothing to do with the attacks on New York and Washington, and had been in Morocco when they happened. He has contacted both the Saudi and American authorities, according to Saudi press reports.

He acknowledges that he attended flight training school at Daytona Beach in the United States, and is indeed the same Waleed Al Shehri to whom the FBI has been referring.

But, he says, he left the United States in September last year, became a pilot with Saudi Arabian airlines and is currently on a further training course in Morocco.

Mistaken identity

Abdulaziz Al Omari, another of the Flight 11 hijack suspects, has also been quoted in Arab news reports.

Abdelaziz Al Omari
Abdelaziz Al Omari 'lost his passport in Denver'
He says he is an engineer with Saudi Telecoms, and that he lost his passport while studying in Denver.

Another man with exactly the same name surfaced on the pages of the English-language Arab News.

The second Abdulaziz Al Omari is a pilot for Saudi Arabian Airlines, the report says.

Meanwhile, Asharq Al Awsat newspaper, a London-based Arabic daily, says it has interviewed Saeed Alghamdi.

Khalid Al-Midhar
Khalid Al-Midhar may also be alive

He was listed by the FBI as a hijacker in the United flight that crashed in Pennsylvania.

And there are suggestions that another suspect, Khalid Al Midhar, may also be alive.

FBI Director Robert Mueller acknowledged on Thursday that the identity of several of the suicide hijackers is in doubt.

The church of not enough money!

It's sad there are so many people ready to tell you they "believe in Jesus". I guess alot of people aren't ashamed to stand up.... But if you knew what relgion was really about, or how it came to be would you be so quick to stand up? I am all for Jesus, God, and all things spiritual, but im not for organized religion. People should actually take the time to educate them that there prescious organized religion could be wrong and not really teaching the true words of Jesus?

"Thus the purpose of each experience is that the entity may magnify and glorify that which is good. For, good is of the one source, God, and is eternal.
Then as an individual entity magnifies that which is good, and minimizes that which is false, it grows in grace, in knowledge, in understanding.""there is no urge in the astrological, in the vocational, in the hereditary or the environmental which surpasses the will or determination of the entity . . . it is true there is nothing in heaven or hell that may separate the entity from the knowledge or from the love of the Creative Force called God, but self." Edgar Cayce

"...the church is within yourself and not in any pope or preacher, or in any building but in self! For thy body is indeed a temple of the living God, and the Christ becomes a personal companion in mind and body, dependent on the personality and the individuality of the entity as it makes practical applications of the tenets and truths that are expressed."

Please watch this if you care, at all, what is happening...

This video covers issues that should have each and every freedom-loving individual blocking the streets of America in protest. In the video, Jones cites reports from mainstream media outlets throught the country; these reports detail everything from military-run public schools to the systematic evisceration of the bill of rights with random federal searches of citizens and additions to the "patriot" act.

Alex Jones Report: December 22, 2005

I don't see how anyone can watch this and see these reports without being angry and feeling that we are indeed reaching a breaking point. We are at a point where the people of the world must stand up to the globalists who are now overtly taking over our lives.

It is now time for us to refuse to cooperate with militarized public schools, manditory vaccinations, terror drills and all other manner by which these elite are systematically devaluing human life and liberty and conditioning us for the new global police state.

I am disgusted with those of you who are ignoring what is going on and labeling people like myself and Alex Jones; calling us mere propegators of liberal hogwash. I know that we've been saying it for years, but now more than ever, it is time to do something about all of this.

The plans of the global elite are NO LONGER A SECRET; the plans and activities of these elite are reported daily in the newspapers. If any of you think I'm full of a bunch of liberal propaganda, then go ahead and ignore me, GO BACK TO WATCHING YOUR TV and BUYING YOUR GOODS AND SERVICES. If enough of you do this, WE WILL BE ENSLAVED. There's no question about it anymore, it is irrefutable. I am not joking, I'm being dead fucking serious; the time has come to act...

Open your eyes!

"This world is home to a lot of different people. Most of us go about our daily lives with little care how the world works so long as it does. Some of us do care. Some of use believe we should control others because we know better. Some of us are trying to gain an advantage by controlling others. This post deals with the latter type.

It is pretty obvious that the only way to get anything done in Washington is to lobby. Over the years, this has been a badly-kept secret, but the effort to keep that secret is being reduced. Mostly, people know that is how it is and don't care. And, why should they? Things are fine.

Why do they think things are fine? They are certain the news media would tell them if things weren't fine. Well, it is becoming increasingly obvious that the mainstream news media is corrupt, incompetent and lazy.

Money is the root of everything, including evil. If you trace the money in the media, you inevitably find some quasi-political hack holding the purse strings. These guys influence trade; they print persuasion and retoric to support various ideas the government wants out there in exchange for consideration in the way of favorable legislation and access to news. This is how the game is played.

The government itself is then packed by people that are elected on the basis of this disinformation. Make no mistake; a politician is no brain trust. The politician happened to be in the right place at the right time with the right mixture of charisma and machismo to make a good candidate. What he says and does is largely controlled for him by his handlers, as he certainly hasn't got the time to review everything.

So, who is really running this government is a collection of beaurocrats, middle-managers and old-money interests, industrialists and bankers. The first two have far more power than you'd think, being as they are the eyes, ears and hands of the leviathan. Were they to refuse to accede an order, it would be nigh impossible to force said order. But that is not the focus of this essay.

The old-money interests, starting with Lincoln, have been trying to establish mercantilism in the US. Mercantilism is a ruling philosophy whereby a few well-connected corporate interests collude with the government to run the country. Mercantilism has been tried before and it leads to corruption, loss of competitive edge, and collapse. But, once again, that is not the focus of this essay.

Through time, the same types of people have attempted to gain control of the masses for their personal gain. Lords, kings and emperors all demanded tribute for allowing their vassals to live. Back then, there was a direct linkage between the state and its vassals so that money owed the state must be paid the state. Then, as now, these people drove the tax rates as high as they could go, often leading to ruination and rebellion.

The current system is much more subtle. I doubt it is overt; it seems more a collusion of stupid rich men (most of which have no idea whats really going on) , but it is effective nonetheless. For starters, create a social-democrat society, one of concern for your fellow man and community feeling, often in the form of patriotism. In this society, you have convinced people that there are problems only government can solve. You have also convinced society that they cannot have all they wish because these problems must be solved. This allows you to syphon taxes off to fund your control of the government through graft.

Now, start up some rumors about things like global warming so that people will believe they will have to pay more for everything and will have reduced expectations about their income and purchasing power. This allows for greater hidden taxation without squealing from the masses.

Now, you will find that you have driven taxes up but not necessarily increased income, as the increase in taxes tends to drain economic activity. In the old days, you could haul out a whip and get the peasants to work harder. You cannot anymore. You must do something else.

The problem is that the populace does not have the appropriate level of fear and loathing for the future to make them work harder. They have savings and own property so that extended periods of unemployment are not a problem. That is money you can't get at to put in your coffers. Something must be done.

Invent a central bank. Convince everyone that gold is so last year. Go off the gold standard on the theory that soft money helps the poor by allowing them to pay off debt. Neglect to mention that few poor have any credit, let alone debt. Now, as inflation sets in, and it will, you will find that those savers decide that losing money isn't worth it so begin spending their savings. Further, your central bank lends money at reasonable rates, so they find they don't need savings; they can just borrow their way out of anything. Over time, the debt load increases to the point where they don't have enough savings to cover even one month's worth of unemployment. Now they work at a fever pitch to stay afloat and their spouse works too. Some of them have two jobs to make ends meet. This production seriously improves your bottom line and makes the economy look good, too.

Now, you can lower taxes. The amount of money being generated is much higher than before so lower taxes still allows adequate graft. Besides, you can always get a loan to speculate on the market, and if you default, your company goes bankrupt and you try again later. It's free money, isn't it?

The problem is that the people, who have no way of analyzing the situation to find the root of their problems, begin to notice they are working harder for less. They also begin to notice that others are getting richer for less work. This is when the riots start. This is when you need to misdirect their anger to the evil globalization/polluters/whatever so they don't notice what is really going on. Starting a war helps because the protesters will tend to fixate on that and, besides, you can increase economic and civic control and thus improve the power of your mercantilistic system.

Thinking people will dismiss the protesters as loony because they are protesting loony things. Their theories about what is wrong with the world are marxist/lenninist crap by and large, so you can ignore it, as it is thoroughly discredited. Those that do know what is going on can also be ignored because the only people that matter, the centrist majority, believe the news media, which brings us full circle.

This is what has allowed the United States to debase its currency by a factor of ten since 1971 and still remain the world's reserve currency. It is all about perception management, they say, and, so long as the perception remains managed, the system works. So bad is the downside, they argue, that anything is acceptable to maintain that perception, including outright fraud.

The problem is that eventually people get tired of being used. Eventually people notice their retirement accounts have been shrinking, not growing. Eventually, people come to retire and find out their pension plans got raided in a bankruptcy. Eventually, people get upset. These people may seek shelter in precious metals in order to hopefully avoid losing their meager savings to inflation. When this begins, expect precious metals to start a bull market the likes of which you've never seen before. At that point, the man behind the curtain will be revealed for a rotten corpse and the whole world will know there is no value in the US economy anymore, as it has all been spent.

Those of us possessing gold and silver will have money. Everyone else won't."

Bushladin responds to question about wiretapping without court approval

http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2005/12/20051219-2.html

In this excerpt, Bushladin uses the constitution to justify illegal wire taps. He also confuses Osama Bin Laden with Saddam Heussein.

Lets see now, which manufactured enemy am I referring to in this answer, aha!

The American people take in this Orwellian double speak without questioning... What is the motivating factor behind all of Bush's reasons? FEAR.

He always says September 11 this, September 11 that, we have to protect our freedoms from others who want to harm us...

9/11 doesn't give this man the right to abrogate the constitution. Where in the document does it give the president the authority to order wiretaps without court approval? Why doesn't he cite the amendment? Are there now "secret" amendments, sort of like the "secret" provisions of the patriot act?

The fact is, these wiretaps are strictly forbidden; Bush is using classic Orwellian doublespeak to mask this and make himself seem officially "correct."

In George Orwell's novel, 1984, there are no laws; people are simply taken away for whatever reason the government sees fit. It appears as if this may be happening in the United States; indeed it is a plague which is sweeping through the western world.

Q Mr. President, thank you, sir. Are you going to order a leaks investigation into the disclosure of the NSA surveillance program? And why did you skip the basic safeguard of asking courts for permission for these intercepts?

THE PRESIDENT: Let me start with the first question. There is a process that goes on inside the Justice Department about leaks, and I presume that process is moving forward. My personal opinion is it was a shameful act for someone to disclose this very important program in a time of war. The fact that we're discussing this program is helping the enemy.

You've got to understand -- and I hope the American people understand -- there is still an enemy that would like to strike the United States of America, and they're very dangerous. And the discussion about how we try to find them will enable them to adjust. Now, I can understand you asking these questions and if I were you, I'd be asking me these questions, too.

But it is a shameful act by somebody who has got secrets of the United States government and feels like they need to disclose them publicly.

President George W. Bush emphasizes a point as he responds to a reporter's question Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, during a news conference in the East Room of the White House. White House photo by Kimberlee HewittLet me give you an example about my concerns about letting the enemy know what may or may not be happening. In the late 1990s, our government was following Osama bin Laden because he was using a certain type of telephone. And then the fact that we were following Osama bin Laden because he was using a certain type of telephone made it into the press as the result of a leak. And guess what happened? Saddam -- Osama bin Laden changed his behavior. He began to change how he communicated.

We're at war, and we must protect America's secrets. And so the Justice Department, I presume, will proceed forward with a full investigation. I haven't ordered one, because I understand there's kind of a natural progression that will take place when this kind of leak emerges.

The second part of the question is? Sorry -- I gave a long answer.

Q It was, why did you skip the basic safeguards of asking courts for permission for the intercepts?

THE PRESIDENT: First of all, I -- right after September the 11th, I knew we were fighting a different kind of war. And so I asked people in my administration to analyze how best for me and our government to do the job people expect us to do, which is to detect and prevent a possible attack.

That's what the American people want. We looked at the possible scenarios. And the people responsible for helping us protect and defend came forth with the current program, because it enables us to move faster and quicker. And that's important. We've got to be fast on our feet, quick to detect and prevent.

We use FISA still -- you're referring to the FISA court in your question -- of course, we use FISAs. But FISA is for long-term monitoring. What is needed in order to protect the American people is the ability to move quickly to detect.

Now, having suggested this idea, I then, obviously, went to the question, is it legal to do so? I am -- I swore to uphold the laws. Do I have the legal authority to do this? And the answer is, absolutely. As I mentioned in my remarks, the legal authority is derived from the Constitution, as well as the authorization of force by the United States Congress.

Trophology: The Science of Food Combining

Trophology is a topic that is, for the most part, foreign to the western world. The founder of modern western medicine, Heroditus, knew of the importance of food combinations; these ideas seem to have been "lost" by mainstream western medicine.

One of the most important factors in determining one's overall mental and physical health is diet. Diet is, however, more complicated than simply eating a certain amount of certain foods. It is absolutely essential that these foods be combined in a way which can easily be digestable by the stomach.

Food Combinations to Avoid

The following are the main violations of proper food combinations that I have seen in the western diet. If food preparers/planners would observe these rules, then the rates of chronic illness would certainly plummet.

  • Protein and Starch - This is the worst possible combination of foods to mix in a single meal, however, it is the most common combination found in modern-day meals. When these two substances are combined together, the alkaline enzyme ptyalin pours into the food as its chewed. When the food reaches the stomach, the digestion of the starch continues; the digestion of the protein, however, is prevented. With starch present in the stomach, it is unable to secrete pepsin and other acids, the acids which breaks down protein. The protein is thus left to putrify, thus preventing your body from absorbing the useful substances and enabling the bacteria to have all of the nutrients in the protien.
  • Multiple Kinds of Proteins - Different proteins have different demands on the stomach. Proteins that are somewhat different, such as fish and lamb, should not be consumed together. Proteins such as beef and lamb, however, can be eaten together in the same meal.
  • Starch and Acid - When you mix an acid food, such as orange juice, with a starchy food, such as buiscits, the secretion of ptyalin is inhibited; it is thus impossible to properly digest the starch. This leaves the starch to ferment in your stomach; fermentation leads to a toxic sludge that does nothing to aid the body.
  • Protein and Acid - When acid foods enter the stomach, the secretion of hydrochloric acid is inhibited. The protein digesting enzyme, pepsin, can only work in the presence of hydrochloric acid. If one combines, for example, orange juice and eggs, the eggs will not digest properly; they will, instead, putrify and become food for the bacteria. This leads to more toxic sludge in the digestive tract.
  • Protein and Sugar - Sugars, needing no processing in the stomach, immediately inhibit the secretion of gastric juices. It is essential that sugars be eaten alone or not at all. Otherwise proper digestion cannot take place.
  • Milk, Cheese and ANYTHING else - It is not advisable to eat anything with dairy products. When dairy products enter the stomach, they immediately curdle and envelop any other food particles in the stomach. This stops proper digestion and leads to putrification or fermentation depending on the foods present in the stomach.
In part II we will explore the dietary devolution of humanity...

Do We Have To Wait Until Bush Purges 20 Million of Us Before We Can Say He's Like Stalin?:

Sometimes, man, it's easy to understand why people just go on with their lives if they're in countries led by a dictator. 'Cause, see, you got different types of dictators: you got your blatantly greedy, "fuck everyone's poverty and hunger as long as my fat belly is full and my big ass is on a gold pillow"-type, like your House of Saud; you got your crazy, seein' shit, killin' everyone in sight, paranoid dictators, like your Stalins, your Kim Jong-Ils; you got your "as long as you don't fuck with me, we're cool" dictators, like your Saddam Husseins; and, the most insidious kind, the dictators who pretend they're not dictators, that everything they do is good and right for the majority of the people in the nation, and, really, where do you want to start? Mao? No category is hard and fast, for qualities of one kind certainly bleed into the others (and, hey, this ain't a fuckin' textbook here). Besides, every dictator has his or her brutal fetishes, like rape rooms, testicle torture, or scalp-collectin', that inflict themselves on the occasional innocent. But, for the majority of a population, in the majority of dictatorships, it's just easier to live your life and hope that you never run over the dictator's son's pet goat or some such shit.

'Cause, if you're a citizen in a dictatorship, you can belong to one of a few categories: inner circle, by connection, family, or ethnicity, where the bounty of the dictator is shared with you as long as you keep said dictator happy; enemy group, by politics, ethnicity, or region, in which case you will be fucked with, beaten, and your daughter raped in front of you on a regular basis until you're disappeared, imprisoned, or cleansed; or average person-in-the-street, the men and women who each day walk past the posters of Glorious Leader, listen to the Leader's speeches, work their jobs, fuck their spouses and/or lovers, raise their kids, watch their TVs, and feel a little exhausted and cranky all the time without wanting to admit why. Think of life in a Soviet block country back in the day. An average person-in-the-street has to make a decision: to seek to rebel, overthrow that dictator, and try to make a change in the nation (thus turning into a purgeable enemy of the state, you know), or take the safe, easy way out and live that average person life. And who could blame you?

In America, we pretend, God, how we pretend, that we're not drifting precipitously into dictatorship, despite a government that clearly behaves as if it has the powers of such tyranny. How else do you explain the Bush administration's blatant violation of criminal law in the President's authorization of spying by the NSA on perhaps thousands of American citizens, a story the "liberal" New York Times sat on for a year at the behest of the White House? Combined with the revelation of the Pentagon database of "potential threats" to the nation that includes war protesters, and you've got some good ol' Soviet-style paranoia going on. If the government feels it has to monitor and/or control the speech and gatherings of its citizens, well, shit, may as well break out the ball vices, put up the posters of Bush standing on top of the corpses of traitors, and call it totalitarianism.

But the occasional good work is a nice distraction from the excesses of a dictatorship. It's what makes it easier for that average citizen to sit back and be an object, acted upon, instead of a subject with that awful agency that forces one to act. Stalin knew that if he built a mighty dam, many people in the nation would overlook the death and misery he had wrought as his press praised him endlessly for his vision in making that mighty dam. So it is that the White House announced the request for an additional $1.5 billion to help reconstruct the levees in New Orleans (which takes care of an effect, but not the disease of environmental degradation).

And anyone who thinks that Bush actually "gave in" to John McCain on the torture amendment is either an idiot or an idolater (and, really, it's hard to tell one from the other these days). We know, from funding for African AIDS programs to the use of poor people and the military as props, that Bush doesn't give a shit what he agrees to, what oaths he vows, what promises he makes: he's gonna do what he wants. Alberto Gonzales has already figured out a way around the McCain amendment, to be sure. And we'll find out about that in another couple of years. The agreement, like the promise to fund the levees, is hocus-pocus, sleight of hand, so you can't see the real fakery of the magic. It's like Stalin promising defectors that nothing would happen if they returned back home. Oh, what glorious bloodletting occurred because of that lie. Oh, how nice and peaceful that lie sounded.

The failure of most Democrats to capitalize on these makes it seem like when Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton show up on some Sunday talk show, it's only because the powers-that-be allow them to speak. It's why when something happens like Russ Feingold getting some nutzoid, paranoid right wing Senators to go along with him on a possible filibuster of the Patriot Act, it is an extraordinary act of courage, when it should only be common sense.

But dictatorships, even demi-dictatorships masked as democracies, don't operate under such convenient notions like "common sense" or "laws." And while the ghost of Hitler, which always haunts these kinds of writings, hasn't been dragged out yet here, let's end by saying this: for the dictatorship, there is only the will to power, and whatever manipulations and machinations it takes, that power will be maintained and the dictator will get whatever the dictator wants.

The tide is turning

Delving into areas which most abstain, one often discovers that the reasons for such abstention are not enough to warrant the curtailing of one's curiosity and the unbridled unfurling of freedom; all of this, in exchange for comfort and order. Why is it, then, that many of us will spend our entire lives clothed in our fears?

Individuals of an orthodox type of mentality shudder when faced with information that challenges their closely held assumptions. Whether or not the information can be proven one way or another, such individuals retreat back to their familliar ideals; these ideals are rarely suitable for a human being and often fail to encompass the vast array of experience that a living, self-aware entity can have. Perhaps this is why the ancient Taoist sages have long said:

The supreme good is like water,
which nourishes all things without trying to.
It is content with the low places that people disdain.
Thus it is like the Tao.

Drop by drop, we are wittnessing the turning of the tide, a tide that has been ebbing and flowing, changing us, for all of our many lives. The current epoch, marked by rigourous self-denial and a comfortoble, yet bland, escape into various forms of feel-good entertainment is drawing to a close. What is to become of us after the end of the ages?

How will those of us with closely held attachments to the old age and its ways cope with the end of the ages? Will such individuals do whatever their leaders ask of them, even if it means killing and enslaving many others and further enslaving themselves to this imperial conquest in the process, or will they realize some level of humanity beyond that which is given in their daily dose of escapism.

What none can escape, however, is the fact that we hold the key to our future, not the politicians, the actors, or the elite; each and every one of us has an effect on the whole of existence, despite the fact that we are often made to believe that we are insignificant compared to the endless crowds and immense mountains of wealth. Can we come to terms with this reality and approach life the brilliance of the sages of ancient times?

hard assets are moving up parabolically in price

I feel as if it would be beneficial to inform you that there's a run on Gold, Silver, Platinum, Palladium, Copper, Zinc, Aluminum and other hard assets. Investors are fleeing the pending financial meltdown of the United States; they are moving towards these hard assets as a safe haven. Base metals are moving up because of increased industrial demand from Asia.

My advice to anyone, which is the same as it was when Silver was at $5.50 & Gold was at $370, is put all available liquidity into Silver, Gold & Palladium.

This is ONLY the beginning of a move towards $1600-2000 Gold, $50-100 Silver, $1100 Palladium, $5 Copper...

A disturbing experience

I experienced a rather alarming incident yesterday; an incident which leads me to believe that the Illuminati is nearly complete in their plan to enslave the minds of the American people.

Yesterday, I had to attend a meeting which discussed 401K's. A banker came and gave us a lecture to us about how little we know about finances and how much he thinks he knows. The banker was trying to insinuate that government bonds are the most secure form of investment and foreign investments are risky. He also claimed that deferring taxes until later is a great thing to do.

I know, from following the market (including the treasury auctions) for several years that government bonds are NOT a safe investment. The United States of America currently has 8 TRILLION in public debt. Debt which continues to grow with interest and continual issuance of new bonds to pay for corporate welfare driven wars. The value of these bonds will collapse as the reputation of the management of the US continues to worsen.

What is a good indication of the reputation of the management of the US financial systems? Gold is, when it goes up, it says alot about the way in which the monetary system is being managed. See for yourself:

Generally, when gold goes up, the value of the US dollar goes down. So this banker was trying to convince us that, even though the dollar has fallen over 30% since 2002, foreign investments are risky. I was almost unable to keep from laughing him right out of the room after that whopper!

If the US is taking out debt by the billions every week, then, it doesn't take a banker to figure out that taxes will GO UP, not down as time progresses. According to the charter of the Federal Reserve, the interest on this astronomical debt MUST be paid by tax receipts.

So there we have another blatant deception from this ignoramous of a banker who obviously hasn't looked past his own nose since he started the con-game of convincing hard-working people to toss their money into locked boxes until their nearly dead and then paying the higher tax when its taken out!

All of the above is to be expected from anyone giving financial advice in America these days. These wunderkids think they know everything, but none of them have, obviously, seen the writing on the wall...

What I wasn't expecting, however, occured when I asked a question about relocating outside of the United States and its implictaions on their precious 401K plans.

The moment I asked the question, the whole room went into UPROAR!! Immediately people began to throw ACCUSATIONS at me. Saying that I must be up to something! One person even compared me to Osama Bin Laden; others in the group just laughed at the absurd idea of ever leaving America.

So, because I want to one day leave the US, I'm all of the sudden an enemy to the American way of life??

If only I could describe all of the details of what went on during that experience, i'm sure all of you would be as horrified as I was and still am.

Why is it that, if someone wants to go and do something different, that they are, all of the sudden, up to something, probably suspect or even a potential terrorist??

During that experience, I caught a brief, yet telling, glimpse into the psyche of everyone in that room. I realized that the time has come to evacuate the United States of America. I will, in the next couple of years, ready myself and all of my friends who wish to join; we are going to evacuate the United States, just as members of my family once evacuated Nazi Germany.

This shit has gone too far!!! I hope that everyone else will see the writing on the wall before it is too late...

Failing ocean current raises fears of mini ice age

Fred Pearce

The ocean current that gives western Europe its relatively balmy climate is stuttering, raising fears that it might fail entirely and plunge the continent into a mini ice age.

The dramatic finding comes from a study of ocean circulation in the North Atlantic, which found a 30% reduction in the warm currents that carry water north from the Gulf Stream.

The slow-down, which has long been predicted as a possible consequence of global warming, will give renewed urgency to intergovernmental talks in Montreal, Canada, this week on a successor to the Kyoto Protocol.

Harry Bryden at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, UK, whose group carried out the analysis, says he is not yet sure if the change is temporary or signals a long-term trend. "We don’t want to say the circulation will shut down," he told New Scientist. "But we are nervous about our findings. They have come as quite a surprise."
No one-off

The North Atlantic is dominated by the Gulf Stream – currents that bring warm water north from the tropics. At around 40° north – the latitude of Portugal and New York – the current divides. Some water heads southwards in a surface current known as the subtropical gyre, while the rest continues north, leading to warming winds that raise European temperatures by 5°C to 10°C.

But when Bryden’s team measured north-south heat flow last year, using a set of instruments strung across the Atlantic from the Canary Islands to the Bahamas, they found that the division of the waters appeared to have changed since previous surveys in 1957, 1981 and 1992. From the amount of water in the subtropical gyre and the flow southwards at depth, they calculate that the quantity of warm water flowing north had fallen by around 30%.

When Bryden added previously unanalysed data – collected in the same region by the US government’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration – he found a similar pattern. This suggests that his 2004 measurements are not a one-off, and that most of the slow-down happened between 1992 and 1998.

The changes are too big to be explained by chance, co-author Stuart Cunningham told New Scientist from a research ship off the Canary Islands, where he is collecting more data. "We think the findings are robust."

Hot and cold

But Richard Wood, chief oceanographer at the UK Met Office’s Hadley Centre for climate research in Exeter, says the Southampton team's findings leave a lot unexplained. The changes are so big they should have cut oceanic heating of Europe by about one-fifth – enough to cool the British Isles by 1°C and Scandinavia by 2°C. "We haven’t seen it yet," he points out.

Though unseasonably cold weather last month briefly blanketed parts of the UK in snow, average European temperatures have been rising, Wood says. Measurements of surface temperatures in the North Atlantic indicate a strong warming trend during the 1990s, which seems now to have halted.

Bryden speculates that the warming may have been part of a global temperature increase brought about by man-made greenhouse warming, and that this is now being counteracted by a decrease in the northward flow of warm water.

After warming Europe, this flow comes to a halt in the waters off Greenland, sinks to the ocean floor and returns south. The water arriving from the south is already more saline and so more dense than Arctic seas, and is made more so as ice forms.

Predicted shutdown

But Bryden’s study has revealed that while one area of sinking water, on the Canadian side of Greenland, still seems to be functioning as normal, a second area on the European side has partially shut down and is sending only half as much deep water south as before. The two southward flows can be distinguished because they travel at different depths.

Nobody is clear on what has gone wrong. Suggestions for blame include the melting of sea ice or increased flow from Siberian rivers into the Arctic. Both would load fresh water into the surface ocean, making it less dense and so preventing it from sinking, which in turn would slow the flow of tropical water from the south. And either could be triggered by man-made climate change. Some climate models predict that global warming could lead to such a shutdown later this century.

The last shutdown, which prompted a temperature drop of 5°C to 10°C in western Europe, was probably at the end of the last ice age, 12,000 years ago. There may also have been a slowing of Atlantic circulation during the Little Ice Age, which lasted sporadically from 1300 to about 1850 and created temperatures low enough to freeze the River Thames in London.
