Fascinating J.A. West Documentaries on the Mysteries of Ancient Egypt

Time Watch: John Anthony West on the Sphinx

Here is a great J.A. West documentary on the Sphinx specifically; it is an in-depth analysis on the mysteries surrounding the Sphinx. I found it particularly interesting when they examined the weathering of the Sphinx and compared it to the weathering of other structures on the same layer of bedrock; structures that were supposedly built during the same time period. An analysis of the differences in weathering of these structures indicates that the Sphinx has obviously weathered differently then many of the structures carved from the same limestone layer.

The Great Year

This is another J.A. West documentary that focuses on the astrological aspects of the great cycle measured by the procession of the equinoxes. It theorizes that the Sun may be part of a binary star system in which it completes a cycle with its neighboring star once every 24,000 years; this is the length of a complete Zodiac cycle. The documentary explains many of the little understood astrological effects brought about by the Earth's wobble and other astrological phenomena. There are also many other interesting notions brought forth in this that are indicative of a great cycle that all civilizations pass through during the great year.

Mystery of the Sphinx

Mystery of the Sphinx goes into great depth on the subject of water erosion and the various theories that surround that topic. This is, perhaps, the most comprehensive and well balanced documentary regarding the different ideas on this matter.

I watched all of them today, and I am blown away by all of the interesting details that I have yet to have seen anywhere else; It is some really compelling material that is worth careful consideration.

Thanks!

That was one of the most interesting myspace profiles I've seen. That guy really knows his stuff; his information is right in line with the research I've done on many of those topics.
